Mortlach is one of Speyside’s most distinctive distilleries, known for producing rich, muscular single malts often referred to as “The Beast of Dufftown.” The 2021 Special Release showcases this signature character in a limited-edition expression designed for whisky enthusiasts and collectors.
This release is crafted using Mortlach’s traditional distillation style and matured in carefully selected casks to enhance depth, richness and complexity, with a strong emphasis on sherry influence and bold structure.
Serving suggestion: Best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass to concentrate the aromas, or with a few drops of water to open up the darker fruit and spice notes. Ideal as a contemplative after-dinner whisky.
