Tasting Notes:
Nose: Aromas of pineapple, baked apple and vanilla are layered with honeyed malt, citrus zest and a faint smoky sulphur note.
Palate: Rich and oily with flavours of tropical fruit, toffee and vanilla custard, balanced by malt sweetness, oak spice and a subtle savoury edge.
Finish: Long and warming with lingering fruit sweetness, gentle spice and a dry, slightly smoky oak character.

Craigellachie Distillery, founded in 1891 in the heart of Speyside, is known for producing unusually robust and muscular single malts. Unlike many Speyside whiskies, Craigellachie maintains a traditional, full-bodied style that has earned it a distinctive reputation among whisky enthusiasts.
The 13 Year Old expression is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, allowing it to develop layers of tropical fruit, rich malt and subtle complexity while retaining its signature bold character.
Serving suggestion: Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to soften the intensity and reveal more tropical fruit notes. Also works well in a robust whisky highball with soda and ice.
