Aberfeldy Distillery has been producing Highland single malt whisky since 1898 and is renowned for its smooth, honeyed style. Nestled in Perthshire, the distillery draws upon traditional craftsmanship and the pure waters of the Pitilie Burn to create whiskies of exceptional character.
This 18 Year Old expression is matured in oak casks before being finished in carefully selected Sangiovese wine casks. The finishing period imparts additional layers of red fruit, subtle tannins and refined complexity, enhancing the whisky's natural sweetness and depth.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy neat to experience the full influence of the Sangiovese casks, or add a few drops of water to reveal additional fruit and floral nuances. Pairs beautifully with dark chocolate desserts or aged cheeses.
