Mars Whisky is produced by Hombo Shuzo, one of Japan’s most respected whisky makers. The Komagatake range is crafted at the Shinshu Distillery, located high in the Japanese Alps, where cool mountain conditions help create refined and expressive single malts.
This Yakushima expression incorporates whisky matured on the island of Yakushima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its humid subtropical climate. The island’s unique environment contributes additional richness and complexity, enhancing the fruit-forward character that defines the Komagatake style.
Serving suggestion: Best enjoyed neat to appreciate its delicate balance and complexity, or with a few drops of water to reveal additional tropical fruit and floral notes. Also pairs beautifully with light desserts or fresh fruit.
