A hand blended, decadent chocolate recipe combined with Lucela's own delicious rum resulting in something simply extra-ordinary.

Lucela's Chocolate Rum liqueur is something quite unique. With the rum hand blended down to to a heart warming 20% abv, and a chocolate recipe that speaks for itself, you're looking at a drink that's too delicious to put down.

Best served chilled (recommended), or over ice.

Suitable for vegans, vegetarians, gluten and dairy intolerants.

Brief Description

Although we recommend drinking this rum chilled, straight up, in a tumbler, no ice, if you want to try something special, then nothing adds to chocolate better than orange, so....

Chocolate-Orange Old fashioned

You'll need:

  • Tumbler glass
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange peel
  • Teaspoon Brown sugar
  • Chocolate bitters/angostura (optional)
  • 60ml Lucela’s
  • 10ml Cointreau

To make:

  • Muddle 10ml of Lucelas, the orange peel and let the sugar dissolve
  • Add a few ice cubes and stir
  • Add 25ml of Lucela’s and 5ml of Cointreau
  • Add a few ice cubes and stir
  • Add last 25ml of Lucela’s and 5ml of Cointreau
  • Add a few ice cubes and stir
  • Garnish with Orange peel + piece of chocolate (optional)
