Finca Manzanos Gran Reserva Rioja is a tawny, amber colour, whilst being clean and bright. The wine has an elegant aroma with intense flavours of dried fruit, liquorice, spices, cocoa and coffee scents. A full bodied Rioja with delicate and silky tannins.
Aged for 36 months in a mix of new and old French (70%) and American (30%) barrels with a further 5 years in bottle to allow all the complex flavour to integrate before its release.
Meticulous attention is given to some of the most prized vineyards in Rioja where the Ebro and Ega rivers meet. These are the vineyards from which the grapes for this wine are carefully hand picked and sorted.
