Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh aromas of lemon zest, sea spray and light smoke are joined by green apple, vanilla and a hint of medicinal peat.
Palate: Clean and crisp with flavours of citrus, malted barley and subtle sweetness, layered with gentle peat smoke and coastal salinity.
Finish: Medium and dry with lingering smoke, lemon peel and soft mineral notes.

Caol Ila Distillery, located on the Isle of Islay overlooking the Sound of Islay, is known for producing elegant, smoky single malts with a distinctive coastal character. It is the largest distillery on the island and a key contributor to many blended Scotch whiskies.
The 12 Year Old expression is the core of the Caol Ila range, matured in oak casks that allow its bright, smoky and maritime style to shine. It is widely regarded as one of the most approachable and versatile Islay single malts.
Serving suggestion: Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to open up the citrus and smoke. Also excellent as a refined smoky highball with soda water and ice.
