1890 Finca Manzanos Rosado is a brilliant rosé colour. Bright strawberries on the nose with a very balanced palate and long finish.
Made from a blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo, this wine is both fruity and perfectly dry and shows the great potential of Rioja Rose.

"A distinctive style, lying in between rosé and blanc de noirs, characterised by deft ageing in oak, with lovely fruit from a dedicated vineyard with a lingering finish showing nice complexity. An original Garnacha/ Tempranillo Blanco blend, this is a wine that illustrates how Rioja is bound to excel in the aged rosés category."
Vineyards: 300ha of vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soil at an average height of 400m above sea level. Meticulous attention to detail in the vineyards, coupled with the extreme climate, offer the perfect conditions for the production of great wines. Grapes are all hand-picked in early October.
Winemaking: Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature with eighteen hours maceration. The wine is aged for a short period in oak.
