Stefano Massone Gavi di Gavi is the highest quality wine in the range, using the very best, hand selected grapes, harvested from his 15 vineyards in Gavi.
The wine is elegant and intense in flavour, with a great deal of complexity. Nevertheless, it remains fresh and very well rounded.
The colour of Stefano Massone Gavi is a brilliant straw yellow with light greenish reflexes. A delicate aroma with fruity and mineral hints expressed with particular elegance. The wine is dry, crisp, and well balanced ready to drink, or wait a year or so for more complexities to show through.

Stefano Massone is a small winery producing tiny quantities of a truly great wine from his hilltop cru in Gavi which is in Southern Piedmont within the area of Monferrato.
Round hills follow one another to reach the Apennine mountains, this green landscape is home of the great grape variety named Cortesse.
Stefano Massone has been living in the culture and traditions of Gavi since his childhood, and is passionate about his vineyards and making superb wines. For 40 years his skills, and his vineyards, have been used to grow the best Cortesse grapes, with love and care, within his modern winery and cellar.
Vineyards: The Sea Wind from Liguria, the characteristics of the soil and the careful attention to the vineyards are the ingredients to make wines with delicate aromas and an elegant and fresh taste. Stefano has 15 Vineyards located in 6 municipalities of the DOCG area with different soils from white land with limestone to red land with clay.
The land is about 250/300 meters above sea level, on hilly soil which has sandy, calcareous structures, and some clay.
Winemaking: Aged in stainless steel.
