Rioja from a respected producer, full of black fruit plus an intriguing sour note, so that added to the sweetness of blackberries and blackcurrants comes the tang of blackberry yoghurt.

Vineyards: Grapes have had to overcome a growing cycle influenced by very unusual weather. Heavy spring rains and low temperatures delayed the growing season and resulted in uneven ripening.

Winemaking: The fermentation temperatures are controlled and go up to 28 - 29º. Devatting (the separation of the liquid from its solid parts after fermentation) is carried out when the colour extraction has reached optimal levels.
