The Malbec grapes are sourced from old vines growing on high-altitude hillsides in the Haute Vallée de Limoux. The vineyards' rugged, limestone-rich soils and elevated position provide a distinctive growing environment, helping produce fruit with concentration and balance.
Once harvested at optimal ripeness, the grapes are destemmed and crushed before undergoing an extended period of maceration. Careful extraction develops the wine's deep colour, generous fruit flavours and rounded tannin structure.
