Domaine Michaut Frères is a traditional family-run estate in Chablis, Burgundy, focused on producing wines that express the purity and minerality of the region’s Kimmeridgian limestone soils. The domaine follows classic Chablis winemaking traditions to highlight freshness and terroir.
Winemaking: Grapes are harvested from selected vineyard sites and gently pressed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is typically aged without oak to preserve its crisp acidity, purity of fruit and mineral-driven style.
Vineyards: Vineyards are located in the Chablis region of northern Burgundy on Kimmeridgian limestone soils rich in fossilised marine minerals. The cool continental climate ensures slow ripening, high acidity and precise, linear wines.
