About

CVNE was founded in 1879 by Eusebio and Raimundo Real de Asua in Rioja. Today, more than 140 years later, CVNE is still managed by their descendants.

Bela Roble is a careful selection of perfectly ripe Tempranillo grapes, from superb vineyards in the village of Villalba de Duero. The harvesting of the grapes went smoothly and gradually, making a good selection of the grapes both in the field and in the winery. The wine making process is traditional, with pre-fermentation in stainless steel tanks, then (following fermentation), six months ageing in American and French, new and one-year old oak barriques.

This is a great wine with traditional Spanish food such as chorizo, paella and Andalucian lamb (marinated in red wine, garlic and rosemary and slowly roasted for several hours).
