Taketsuru Pure Malt is produced by Nikka, one of Japan’s most respected whisky houses. Named in honour of Masataka Taketsuru, who studied whisky-making in Scotland before helping establish the Japanese whisky industry, it reflects a legacy of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
This Pure Malt expression combines malt whiskies from Nikka’s renowned distilleries to create a harmonious and layered whisky. Careful maturation and blending deliver depth, balance and the subtle complexity that has made Japanese whisky famous around the world.
Serving suggestion: Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to reveal additional layers of fruit and spice. Also excellent served in a traditional Japanese whisky highball with chilled soda water and ice.
