As you raise the glass you are struck by the clear, light straw yellow colour of the wine.
On the nose are aromas of apple and pineapple which carry through to the palate where it feels soft and light with a pleasingly long finish.

Tussock Jumper Wolf Pinot Grigio comes from the Delle Venezie of Italy where the soils are alluvial and vary from the hilly areas to the valley.
In the higher regions the soil is calcium rich whereas in the lower areas it tends to contain clay, sand and gravel.
The grapes are harvested at perfect maturity levels and soft pressed to squeeze out every bit of flavour whilst keeping to a minimal the colour extracted from the skins which is why this Pinot Grigio is such a beautiful pale colour.
A small portion of over ripened grapes are added to really enhance the tropical fruit characteristics of the wine.
