Tasting Notes

In the glass, Biscardo Rosé Prosecco is a salmon pink colour with a fine and persistent perlage.

On the nose, it is intense and aromatic with hints of red currant, wild strawberry and rose petal. This is elegant, smooth and velvety on the palate

It has a harmonious dry finish.

About

This Prosecco is made from 85% Glera grape and 15% Pinot Nero, both of which come from within the DOC Veneto region.

The grapes are hand picked and vinification is started within a few hours to avoid any loss of flavours and preserve purity.

Fermentation is performed before the juice from both grapes are combined for the refermentation process which is performed in autoclaves that keep up to 6 atmospheres of pressure, which is the traditional method for spumante.
