Tasting Notes
A vibrant, fresh and aromatic wine with strong red fruits and a plum undertone. It has ripe tannins with ample acidity to balance its vibrant fruits and hints of minerals.
About
The grapes used to make Artuke comes from plots in the municipality of Baños de Ebro, where the winery is located. These are located between 420 and 480 metres of altitude. Some of the strains from which the grapes are harvested were planted in 1902, while others were not cultivated until 2005.
Fermentations take place in stainless steel and concrete tanks in a gentle, static style that avoids over-extraction. After fermentation, the wines transfer to top quality, neutral French oak for aging.
