Tasting Notes
Bramare is a deep red colour with violet hues with highly intense aromas of pepper, cloves, cinnamon and other spices, along with black fruits and roses.
It is a complex wine, long and structured, with red and black fruits filling the palate. Wide and firm tannins and a long end with a lovely red fruit aftertaste and a hint of oak.
About
Luján de Cuyo is known historically as the ‘prime zone’ for wine-growing in Mendoza, situated at an altitude of 1,000m and in a semi-desert climate. The low-nutrient gravelly soils provide ideal conditions for producing high quality grapes.
Aged 18 months in French oak barrels, with around a quarter in first-use, and the remainder in 2nd-4th use. The wine is then bottles unfined.
