Tasting Notes
Golden in the glass but with some silver tones shining through, this wine has a very rich nose. I would say peaches and pears. The palate is fresh and vibrant and quite intense, again with those peaches and pears and a nice minerality to it.
About
Chateau Vessiere is in the heart if the Costieres de Nimes in the extreme south of the Rhone Valley. This is a family run vineyard and has been worked by generations of the family, the current being Vincent Teulon and his wife Lucie. Since 2019, the estate has also been in biodynamic conversion with the DEMETER label. Vincent has relocated medicinal plants to the area, thus strengthening the vine's defenses against disease. The objective being, in the long term, to no longer use sulfur and copper in the treatment of vine diseases.
