Casa Defra is a long-established winery founded in 1908 in the Veneto region of Italy. The estate works with selected growers from the Berici Hills, focusing on sustainable viticulture and modern winemaking practices to produce fresh, approachable wines that reflect their terroir.
Winemaking: Grapes are harvested from hillside vineyards and gently pressed before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This preserves the wine’s delicate aromatics, fresh fruit character and crisp acidity.
Vineyards: The vineyards are located in the Berici Hills of Veneto, where limestone-rich and marine-influenced soils help create wines with natural minerality, freshness and expressive fruit character under a cool northern Italian climate.
