The stunning 18th century Château Puy Guilhem is located on the hills of Saillans, overlooking the appellations of Pomerol and Saint-Émilion. The vineyard covers 14.5 hectares and is situated at the highest elevation of the Fronsac appellation, where the quality soils produce rich, concentrated grapes.
Fronsac itself is situated on the right bank close to Saint Emilion and the main variety is Merlot. With iconic names such as Petrus and Le Pin just a short distance away, it's little wonder that this wine is so good.
