Tasting Notes
El Coto Crianza is fresh and juicy with nicely balanced oak. The red and black fruits balance the wood and tabbaco flavours, and there is a good level of tannins. The finish is dry with a little vanilla.

El Coto was founded in 1970 in Rioja Alavesa and has grown from humble beginnings into one of the best-known Rioja producers.
They have vineyards in all 3 principal Rioja regions making them the largest vineyard owner in Rioja. Ownership of the vineyards gives them great control of the quality of the grapes which go into their wines.
Their stand-out reds hail primarily from their estate at Cenicero in the heart of Rioja Alta
El Coto Crianza is made solely from the Tempranillo grape. It is aged in American oak for 12 months and a further 8 months in bottle prior to release.
