About
Made by Raventós Codorníu who are the oldest wine-making business in Spain and one of the oldest of the world. They are also the creater of cava and in years gone by, even made Champagne under licence for a very well-known Champagne house in Epernay. Bach joined the Codorniu family in 1975 and has continued to enjoy remarkable success since then.
The wine is a blend of Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada and Chardonnay. Made in much the same way as champagne with the secondary fermentation taking place in the bottle to create a fine sparkling wine with an elegant and persistent mousse.

Suitable for any occasion, Gran Bach works well on its own and can also be paired with aperitifs and fish, shellfish, salads and lightly spiced dishes.
