About
Bach is one of Spain’s historic Cava producers, based in the Penedès region of Catalonia. With a long tradition in sparkling wine production, the winery focuses on approachable, fruit-driven Cavas made using the traditional method.
Winemaking: Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed before undergoing primary fermentation in stainless steel. The wine then undergoes a second fermentation in bottle (traditional method), followed by ageing on lees to develop fine bubbles and subtle complexity while preserving fresh fruit character.
Vineyards: Sourced from vineyards in the Penedès region, where Mediterranean sunshine and cooling coastal influences create ideal conditions for sparkling wine production. The soils and climate help retain acidity while developing bright fruit expression in the grapes.
