The limestone rich soils of the Robertson Valley have proven beneficial for grape growing giving greater spice notes in the red wines than what is typical of the Robertson region.
Grapes are harvested by hand for greater quality control with the bunches immediately destemmed, but kept whole berry.
Once completed, 45% of the wine is aged in a mixture of French and American oak for a period of six months, while the remaining wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.
