About
Tinpot Hut is a family-owned Marlborough winery named after a historic high-country shelter once used by local shepherds. The winery focuses on producing premium wines that capture the purity, freshness and distinctive character of Marlborough’s cool-climate vineyards.
Winemaking: Grapes are harvested in the cool of the morning to preserve freshness and aromatics. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, helping retain the vibrant fruit flavours and crisp acidity that define Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Vineyards: The fruit is sourced from selected Marlborough vineyard sites, where abundant sunshine, cool nights and free-draining alluvial soils create ideal conditions for producing intensely aromatic Sauvignon Blanc with exceptional freshness and balance.
