Tasting Notes
A multi faceted Sauvignon Blanc with intense notes of stone fruit, lemongrass, lime, peach, minerality and an undernote of freshly cut grass. On the nose is the aroma of lime, nectarine, and orange blossom. All with a long, dry, aftertaste ending in a crisp finish.
About
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc is probably the biggest name in New Zealand wines and a real benchmark against which to measure the quality of all other Marlborough wines.
Founded by David Honen in 1985, Cloudy Bay winerey gets its name from the bay at the eastern end of the Wairau Valley named by Captain James Cook in 1770. From inception it quickly became New Zealand's leading wine producer considered to be located in possibly the finest location in the world for Sauvignon Blanc
This wine is perfect for drinking now but, always nice to know, it can be stored for up to 10 years and still retain that perfect taste.
