Tuffolo Gavi is made by one of the most important co-operatives in Gavi whose primary focus is Gavi wines. Pooling resources in this way allows the most up to date winemaking technology to be employed and the results are impressive; clean, fresh wines which show the very essence of the grape variety, without the need for oak or blending with other varieties.
Privately owned cooperatives such as this are leading the way in viticulture with high quality, affordable wines coming to the fore in areas where prices have typically been much higher because of the costs of production.
