Marie-Pierre Manciat’s father Claude was one of a handful of top-flight producers in the Maconnais area. The domaine is actually split up into two parts. The Mâcon producing estate is located in Charnay, just outside of Mâcon, and these vines came from Claude’s side of the family (Manciat) while the Pouilly-Fuissé vineyards in the village of Vergisson belonged to his wife’s family (Poncet). Together their estate comprises approximately 12 hectares of vines and all wines are estate bottled.
