Bollinger Special Cuvée Brut NV is the signature Champagne of one of the region’s most prestigious houses. Dominated by Pinot Noir, it combines ripe orchard fruit, citrus and stone fruit flavours with layers of brioche, toasted nuts and spice from extended cellar ageing. Tasting Notes
Nose: Complex aromas of baked apple, pear and citrus with notes of brioche, toasted hazelnut, honey and subtle spice.
Palate: Rich and elegant with flavours of orchard fruit, peach and lemon balanced by creamy mousse and vibrant acidity. Layers of pastry, roasted nuts and mineral notes add depth and sophistication.
Finish: Long, refined and persistent with lingering brioche, citrus and toasted nut complexity.
About
Bollinger was founded in 1829 in Aÿ and has become one of Champagne’s most celebrated producers. Famous for its Pinot Noir-focused style and dedication to traditional craftsmanship, the house is renowned for producing Champagnes with exceptional richness, character and ageing potential.
Winemaking: Crafted using the traditional Champagne method, Special Cuvée is blended from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, including a significant proportion of reserve wines aged in magnums and oak. Extended maturation on lees enhances texture, complexity and depth while maintaining freshness.
Vineyards: The grapes are sourced from premier vineyard sites across Champagne, including numerous Grand Cru and Premier Cru villages. Chalk-rich soils and a cool continental climate contribute freshness, precision and elegance to the finished wine.
