About
Bollinger is one of Champagne’s most prestigious and historic houses, founded in 1829. Renowned for its Pinot Noir-dominant style, extensive cellar ageing and commitment to traditional methods, Bollinger produces some of the region’s most distinctive and age-worthy Champagnes.
Winemaking: The wine is produced using the traditional Champagne method, with a blend dominated by Pinot Noir alongside Chardonnay and Meunier. A small proportion of still red wine from Grand Cru vineyards is added to create the rosé colour and character. Extended ageing on lees contributes richness, complexity and finesse.
Vineyards: Fruit is sourced from prestigious vineyards across Champagne, including numerous Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites. Chalk-rich soils and a cool climate provide the freshness, elegance and structure that define Bollinger’s house style.
