A zesty, crisp, fruit-driven chardonnay which is packed with citrus and melon flavours. Grapefruit and lime combine and cut through to the fresh, clean finish.

About

Chardonnay is a fairly hardy variety that thrives in the climate of South Australia and well as the cooler climate of Burgundy in France, where it is used to make wines such as Chablis, Montrachet and other Bourgogne Blancs. As a grape variety, Chardonnay has 34 clones, each with different characteristics, which helps explain its wide use around the world.

The grapes for Tooma River Chardonnay come from the sun-drenched vineyards in the Riverland region of South Australia, to the east of Adelaide.
