Obra Prima Malbec is a big wine with lots of depth. On the palate its mouthfilling with rich fruits of plums, raisins and blackcurrants.

The long finish is slightly spicy, fresh, and backed by chocolate and sweet smokey oak.

About

The Famila Cassone's vineyards are 100 years old situated 950m above sea level in the prime Drummond area of Luján de Cuyo in Southwest Mendoza.

The grapes are hand harvested at the end of March and the wine undergoes a long warm maceration before fermentation. It is then aged for 12 months in a new French oak.
